Trial date reset for man charged with drug-induced homicide

Posted:
(WGEM) - A trial date is set for a Pike County man charged with drug-induced homicide.

A bench trial for John Edgar will start June 24.

Edgar is charged with the death of Milton resident Shandra Lopez, who died from heroin authorities say she bought from Edgar.

Edgar was scheduled to go to jury trial, but waived his right during a court hearing last week.
