Task force arrests man on meth charges

MARION COUNTY, Mo. (WGEM) - Task force members arrested a Marion County man Thursday after searching his house.

Northeast Missouri Narcotics Task Force Captain Patti Talbert says police arrested Steven Eugene Riney, 54, of 7530 Marion County Road 406, Hannibal, after executing a search warrant at the address.

Police say they found meth lab items, meth, and marijuana paraphernalia.

After leaving, police say they found Riney driving close to the house. They say he had meth and meth paraphernalia with him, and meth-making materials in the vehicle.

Riney was arrested and charged with attempt to manufacture a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
