QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - A Clayton man accused of sexual abuse entered a guilty plea in court Friday morning.

Court records say Patrick Stabler, 36, pleaded guilty to aggravated criminal sexual abuse related to an incident with his step-child. Stabler is scheduled to be sentenced July 8 where he'll face up to four-and-a-half years in prison.

The Adams County Sheriff's Office says the incident with the victim, who was under the age of 13 at the time, occurred in September of 2008.
