Lions Club raises $8,000 for Honor Flight

MENDON, Ill. (WGEM) - The Mendon Lions Club presented a check for $8,000 to the Great River Honor Flight.

The club also gave money to Adams County first responders from the proceeds of its annual Hunters Classic held in March.

This is the second year in a row the Mendon Lions have donated to Honor Flight. Its two-year total is $13,000.

The next Honor Flight is May 22.
