Quincy firefighter wins $100,000 Mega Raffle

One way to raise money is to offer the chance of making even more.

The "Everybody Wins" Mega Raffle offered more than eighty prizes throughout Saturday night at the Knights of Columbus Grounds in Quincy. The event included food, games, silent auctions, and more all to raise money for financial support at Quincy's Catholic Schools.

"We want to make sure that any student who wants to attend any of our Catholic Schools whether it's our Catholic grade schools or Quincy Notre Dame has the possibility and the reality of being able to do that," said Kurt Stuckman, Executive Director for the QND Foundation.

Saturday night's winner of the third place $10,000 prize was Michelle Frye of Hannibal. Douglas Patterson from Quartz Hill, California won his choice of the 2014 Toyota Camry or RAV4, and the grand prize of $100,000 went to Quincy fireman Jamie Pieper.
