Court pushed back for man accused of injuring baby

HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) - The court date has been postponed for the Hannibal man arrested in connection with an injured seven-week-old baby.

Dustin Dye, 29, was set to appear in court Friday, but court records show the case has been pushed back to Friday, June 20.

If convicted, he faces up to two consecutive life sentences.

The seven-week-old has been in the hospital with serious injuries police say are consistent with child abuse.
