The Quinsippi Yacht Club wants to make sure everyone stays safe on the water this summer.
It's making life jacket rentals available for free at the Quincy Park District gas docks at the Art Keller Marina. Those needing a life jacket can leave a deposit and borrow the jacket for the day.
Vicki Ebbing with the Yacht Club says it's important everyone has a vest on while on the water.
"As a boat owner you have to have the right number of life jackets available in your boat according ot the size of your boat. Most people have them, but every now and then you have someone show up that you weren't expecting. So, you need an extra life jacket and we have those here," said Ebbing.
The gas docks at Art Keller Marine are open from 8:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m. seven days a week during the summer months.
