Fort Madison man seriously hurt in ATV crash

LEWIS COUNTY, Mo. (WGEM) - A Fort Madison man suffered serious injuries in an ATV crash in northeast Missouri Friday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Justin Tate, 33, was driving a Polaris Predator 4 Wheeler on Smurfwood Trails about five miles east of Monticello when the vehicle went airborne. When it hit the ground, Tate was ejected.

He was airlifted to Blessing Hospital.
