Soap Box Derby brings out young racers

Posted:
QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - The 18th Street hill near Bob Mays park saw a lot of traffic on Saturday.

But it wasn't your regular street traffic. It was the annual Quincy Soap Box Derby. Dozens of cars, including one sponsored by WGEM and driven by Tristen Goode, took part in the race.

All of the money raised goes to the Breakfast Optimist Club, to help fight against childhood cancer.
