Quincy/Adams County Historical Society looking at bids for Gardner Museum

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -  The Gardner Museum in Quincy could have a new owner by the end of this summer.

The president of the Quincy/Adams County Historical Society board, Justin Coffey, says they have taken several bids already, and are expecting one to two more.

On Thursday, the board will hear about the three bids it has so far, including one from the Mormon Historical Foundation.

Coffey says they plan to accept more bids until early July, and hope to move forward with one of them at the board's July 24th meeting.
