Quincy residents get chance to eat lunch with the mayor

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - Have you always wanted to sit down with the mayor and voice your opinion about an issue?

Some Quincy residents got the chance to do just that Tuesday.

Dozens of people brought their lunches to Washington Park for Lunch with the Mayor with Quincy Mayor Kyle Moore.

Some of the topics residents talked about over lunch were the new garbage totes available soon to replace stickers, and the possibility of Quincy Compressor leaving Quincy.

There will be two more events like this on July 29 and August 26 at noon in Washington Park.
