Man accused of exploiting the elderly pleads not guilty


 A Quincy man accused of misusing an elderly family member's money pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday morning.

 Kevin Fortman is charged with financial exploitation of the elderly, and is accused of misusing a large amount of money belonging to an 84-year-old family member.

Authorities say the misuse occured over a two-year period.

Fortman is scheduled to go to trial September 8.
