Investigation turns four drug arrests

MACOMB, Ill. (WGEM) -

Police arrested four people after a two-month investigation into cannabis distribution.

Macomb police say they arrested Sterling M. Serano, 31, of Macomb; Aries E. Serano, 26, of Macomb; Margaret A. Williams, 60, of Macomb; and Qiara L. Ferguson, 22, of Chicago Heights, Tuesday while serving three search warrants.

Police found about $5,900 in cash and about 667 grams of cannabis during the searches.

Sterling Serano is charged with manufacture/delivery of cannabis 500 to 2,000 grams, possession of cannabis 500 to 2,000 grams and calculated drug conspiracy. He also had a McDonough County warrant charging him with three counts of manufacture/delivery of cannabis 10-30 grams.

Aries Serano is charged with manufacture/delivery of cannabis 10 to 30 grams, possession of cannabis 10 to 30 grams and calculated drug conspiracy. He also had a McDonough County warrant charging him with one count of manufacture/delivery of cannabis under 10 grams.

Williams is charged with manufacture/delivery of cannabis 500 to 2,000 grams, possession of cannabis 500 to 2,000 grams and calculated drug conspiracy. She also had a McDonough County warrant charging her with one count of manufacture/delivery of cannabis 10 to 30 grams.

Ferguson is charged with manufacture/delivery of cannabis 10-30 grams and possession of cannabis 10 to 30 grams.
