Pike County Pig Days in Pittsfield this weekend

If you're a big fan of pork, then Pittsfield, Illinois is the place to be this weekend.

The Pittsfield Lions Club and city are hosting the 46th annual Pig Days.

The event got underway Friday evening with music, entertainment, kids activities and food, including famous pork sandwiches.

A 2014 commemorative Pig Days t-shirt is also available, featuring artwork by local artist Bill Beard.

Another highlight from Friday was the Little Miss Piglet contest. That's where little girls show off who has the longest pig tails.

Pig Days continues Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. around the square in Pittsfield.
