QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - The Quincy woman accused of locking her 5-year-old son in their home's basement pleaded not guilty Wednesday afternoon, according to court records.

Tricia Franklin, 26, is charged with unlawful restraint and is scheduled for jury trial Sept. 8. Franklin was found fit for trial after previously undergoing a mental exam.
