Court records reveal two men accused of attacking three Quincy residents both pleaded not guilty Wednesday afternoon in court.

Calvin Snell and Lamar Coulter, both of Chicago, each pleaded not guilty to three charges of aggravated battery and one count of robbery. Snell is scheduled for jury trial on Sept. 8, while Coulter is scheduled to have his case heard by a jury on Oct. 14.

Authorities says Snell and Coulter attacked a man June 28 and took his knife and money at the corner of 7th and Elm Street. Later that day, the two men are alleged to have attacked and punched two men at the corner 18th and Chestnut Street.

A witness was able to provide police with a description of the suspects and their vehicle.

Coulter has since posted a $3,000 bond, while Snell remains lodged in the Adams County Jail.
