Woman accused of setting hotel on fire pleads not guilty

A woman accused of trying to set a Nauvoo hotel on fire says she's innocent.

Terri Gatewood pleaded not guilty in court Wednesday to an aggravated arson charge.

Authorities say Gatewood set a fire July 9 at the Nauvoo Family Inn & Suites. Hotel staff put the fire out and no one was hurt, but there were people inside at the time.

Gatewood was an employee of the hotel at the time.
