Man accused of Huckleberry Park stabbing gets prison time

HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) -

One of three people accused of attacking two men in Hannibal was sent to prison after pleading guilty Monday, according to court records.

Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd sentenced Zachary Kuntz, 24, to ten years in prison after he pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree assault.

Police say Kuntz, along with Aaron Weatherby and Lauren Sinclair, attacked two New London men June 6 in Huckleberry Park.

Police say the 21-year-old and 22-year-old men were stabbed during the attack.

Weatherby, 19, pleaded not guilty Monday for his involvement in the incident. Sinclair, 21, is also charged for her involvement.
