YMCA kicks off after-school program

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - Looking for something to keep your kids busy, and also help them with their studies after school?

Kids get transportation from school to the Quincy YMCA, as well as homework help, fitness and swimming. There are several payment options available including help for low-income families.

"This is just a great learning tool for them," Marketing Director Michelle Terwelp said. "To get them on a structured system and learning about fitness and being active and somewhere that's safe with supervised care."

Parents can sign their kids up throughout the year.  For more information contact the Quincy YMCA.
