Woman ticketed after crashing in school zone

Police ticketed a Quincy woman for reckless driving and speeding in a school zone after she collided with another car Thursday morning.

Crews were called to the scene around 8 a.m. at the intersection of 24th and Vermont streets.

Quincy police officers say Anna Chartkova, 29, was heading north on 24th Street when the driver hit a second car, driven by Rachael Brink, 25,  that was turning from Vermont Street onto 24th Street.

No one was hurt.

Officers say more citations could be coming.
