QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

A team in Quincy will be strapping on their roller skates this weekend for a good cause.

The Dark River Derby Coalition, Quincy's professional roller derby team, is raising money for Quincy's Teen REACH at their bout Saturday.

Member Jessica Patel says the group raises money for area organizations at each of their six home bouts and wanted this money to help kids in Quincy.

"Which is such a great community organization," Patel said. "We have some members that actually volunteer with the organization as well and a lot of us work with kids so it's just such an important community organization."

The bout is at 7 pm Saturday at Scottie's Fun Spot. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Kids 12 and under are free. A portion of ticket sales will go back to Quincy's Teen REACH.

A 50/50 raffle will also be held with money going towards the organization.
