Ralls Co. home damaged by fire

A Ralls County, Missouri, home was severely damaged early Saturday morning after a fire broke out, according to a fire official.

Hannibal Rural Fire Chief Mike Dobson said a neighbor saw smoke coming from a double-wide mobile home at 13532 Thorn Berry Rd. at 2:50 a.m. He said a Ralls County sheriff's deputy checked it out and found a fire.

Dobson said the home was fully-involved by the time crews arrived.

No one was home at the time, according to Dobson. He said no one was injured.

Dobson said it was unclear how the fire started. He said he opted against calling the fire marshal because of the extensive damage, but he said the fire was not suspicious.
