Working together for the common good, that was the goal of a meeting between NECAC and Tri-State Veterans Community Village on Wednesday.

Officials met to discuss ways to help homeless veterans, much of that centering around using tiny homes. Both sides said since they both make tiny homes, they want to work together to complement each other to help bring tiny homes to communities throughout the Tri-States.

"We are not a Quincy organization, we are not an Adams County organization, we are truly a Tri-State region," President of Tri-State Veterans Community Village, Richard Elsenpeter said. "Being able to partner with organizations from Iowa, Missouri, Illinois is a great resources. We are not trying to duplicate resources, we are trying to work with each others resources."

Elsenpeter said they will be meeting with more organizations throughout the Tri-States discussing partnerships.
