Two men face additional charges after their arrest Thursday in Hannibal on outstanding warrants, according to police.

Hannibal Police Lt. John Zerbonia said an officer spotted a vehicle he thought had two occupants with warrants. He said the officer then found the vehicle parked in the 200 block of 10th Street, but it was unoccupied by that point.

Zerbonia said the officer then spotted Sonny Vincent, 21, of Middletown, Missouri, near the vehicle. He said Vincent was arrested because of an active warrant out of Pike County, Missouri.

Authorities reported a firearm was found in Vincent's pocket during a search.

After a brief investigation, Zerbonia said officers learned the other occupant, Lance Moore, 25, of Hannibal, was inside an apartment by himself. He said officers then gained consent to go inside the apartment.

Zerbonia said the officers went inside after asking Moore several times to come out.

Police reported Moore was arrested on two outstanding Marion County warrants. Zerbonia said a resisting arrest charge will also be submitted for Moore.

He said charges would also be submitted to the Marion County prosecutor on Vincent for possession of a firearm by a felon.
