ADAMS COUNTY, Ill. (WGEM) -

Police say two Golden, Illinois, residents were arrested Thursday night after a drug purchase outside the Adams County Courthouse.

West Central Illinois Task Force M/Sgt. Patrick Frazier said after the drug purchase, the two suspects were followed to 18th and Maine, where they were arrested.

Frazier said Hanna E. Miller, 25, and Lance C. Kelly, 25, both of 402 S. Park St. in Golden, were each arrested for unlawful delivery of oxycodone and unlawful possession of oxycodone.

Authorities said a additional oxycodone and fentanyl patch were seized during a search of their residence.

Frazier said the two suspects were taken to the Adams County Jail.

Court records show Miller was previously sentenced to 18 months of probation for making a false report in 2016. She was arrested for falsely claiming she was stabbed at a Camp Point business.
