HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) -

A Hannibal man wanted on a Marion County warrant was arrested Monday morning on new drug charges, according to police.

Hannibal Police Lt. John Zerbonia said officers responded to the 1900 block of Market Street at 12:38 a.m. for a report of a suspicious person. He said officers then made contact with Jereme Reeves, 44.

Zerbonia said after Reeves consented to a search, officers found what was believed to be meth and prescription pills.

Reeves was arrested on two counts of possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and the active felony warrant, according to Zerbonia.
