Thousands of people filled the streets of Nauvoo Illinois for the 80th annual Grape Festival.

Families enjoyed carnival rides for the kids, food and several arts and craft tents at the flea market. This year was also the 41st year for the Festival on Wheels custom car show. It's one of the largest shows in the Tri-States with more than 500 entries this year.

Those who spent the weekend there said it's a great tradition for families.

"It's a good atmosphere and they bring it every year," Levi Smith said. "It's got better and a lot bigger than it was last year. Hopefully next year it will be twice this size. You never know."

Organizers said they expected more than 5,000 people at the festival this year.
