A program to help teens in need started Wednesday at Hannibal High School.

Organizers said this is the second year for Teens in Motion, which partners students with mentors to help them get a glimpse of what they need to succeed after high school. Teens in Motion is an extension of kids in motion. This year, program director Amy Vaughn said they have doubled in size since last year to 20 kids.

"Teens in Motions is more of an educational based program where we expose kids to career opportunities, learning opportunities such as interviewing skills, resume writing and things that are going to lead to their success following high school graduation," Vaughn said.

Teens in Motion will meet four times a week this year throughout the school year.
