Three arrested in Hannibal for weapons and drugs

HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) -

Lt. John Zerbonia of the Hannibal Police Department reported that three Hannibal residents were arrested Thursday following a search at the 1300 block of Union St.

During a narcotics search, Hannibal Police said they found a 9 mm handgun, marijuana, and a large amount of methamphetamine, Zerbonia stated.

The following were arrested as a result of the investigation:

  • Tina Smith, 39, of Hannibal for distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Keeley Smashey, 21, of Hannibal for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Zachary Hylton, 27, of Hannibal for possession of a controlled substance and felony probation warrant.

Hylton was transported to Marion County Jail for his probation warrant.

Smashey was booked and released pending prosecutor review.

A warrant for Smith was issued through the Marion County 10th Judicial Circuit Court charging her with delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful use of a firearm. Smith’s bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety, Zerbonia stated.

The Hannibal Police Department was assisted by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department K-9.
