KEOKUK, Ia. (WGEM) -

Iowa residents casted their vote for the June primary Monday morning.

At the courthouse in Keokuk, dozens filled out the ballot for state and county races.

Elections Director Nikki Sugars say people need to be aware of the changes this year.

You need to be registered to a party and have a drivers license or ID number with you when you vote in Fort Madison or Keokuk.

Early Voting ends at 5 p.m. on June 4.

You can vote Monday-Friday at South Lee County Courthouse or North Lee County Office from 8:30-4:30.

There will be an extra day on Saturday, June 2 from 9-5 p.m.
