HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) -

The Hannibal Police Department has identified a body that was recovered Saturday from the Hannibal riverfront.

Assistant Chief Lt. John Zerbonia reported that the body was that of a 65-year-old Quincy man.

"there has been an update on the deceased male that was located in the river Saturday morning-- there's been an autopsy performed by the Boone County Medical Examiners office, there are no signs at this time that foul play was involved but the investigation is on-going," said Zerbonia.

The Marion County Coroner identified the man as Keith Johns who was formerly of Palmyra, Missouri.
