Lee Co. Sheriff's Office seeks help identifying a male subject

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a male subject who approached an 11-year-old girl Wednesday night in Pollmiller Park in rural Lee County.

Sheriff Stacy Weber stated that a girl had been approached by a white male subject, 6 feet tall, approximately 180 pounds with a bald head. The man was "drunk" according to the victim and tried to prevent the victim from going to the restroom at the back area in the park. He reportedly asked her to come with him. The man persisted briefly and walked away after the victim refused to let him touch her. The man left the area before the victim could point him out to her family members who were with her.

Weber stated that deputies and officers swarmed the area and did not locate anyone matching the description. Additional information is being sought by law enforcement to identify and interview the subject in this case. Weber is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have seen the man in question contact the Lee County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division immediately.
