QUINCY (WGEM) - We have a had a nice run of dry weather over the last 4 days, the dry weather will continue this weekend. That is great news for event planners that long ago scheduled the Veterans Day Parades in both Hannibal and Quincy. Organizers of outdoor events always agonize over the expected weather on the day of the event and this year they are victorious over mother nature.

We will start of Saturday with a bit of a cool start but the sun will be shining and the wind will be light. You will definitely want a jacket and hat and try to be on the sunny side of the street as we honor and celebrate our area veterans. We expect temperatures to be in the mid 40s at 10 am in Quincy for the start of the parade at 12th and Maine in Quincy. The parade is a short one that travels from 12th and Maine to 5th and Maine.

Hannibal’s Parade will start at 11 am and the sun will have a bit more time to warm things up and we expect temperatures to be around 50 degrees in Hannibal.
