Rain then cooler temperatures

The Tri-State area had exceptionally warm air Monday and we’re going to get another day of temperatures that will be running above normal. However we are tracking an area of low pressure that will bring us rain and also bring us significantly cooler air. While daytime highs on Monday topped out near 70 degrees for most of the area we will be much cooler by the end of the week with daytime high temperatures on Friday struggling just to get up to 40 degrees. This system that is approaching does not look to be a true proficient rainmaker however it does look likely that everyone in the Tri-State area will see rain. We are tracking the Latest data and will bring you the best forecast coming up on the next news cast from your weather authority
