QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - The (8-3) Highland Cougars are preparing to face the (9-1) Tigers of Marceline on the road this “Football Friday Night!” The two programs will collide in the 2021 MSHSAA Class 1 District 6 Championship in Marceline in less than 72 hours. HHS head coach Dave DeGarmo has led the Cougars to two straight wins heading into this highly anticipated title tilt. We’ll head to Lewis County, Missouri and check in with the Cougars and get their thoughts on how their defense is gearing up to slow down the Marceline passing game.
Meanwhile in Kohoka, Missouri, Ethan Nelson and his family are celebrating this evening after the talented Indians senior signed a National Letter Of Intent. The standout Cross Country runner with Clark County signed his NLI with the Wildcats of Culver-Stockton College. We’ll check in with the top Scholar-Athlete and get Ethan’s thoughts on just why he selected to head to “The Hill” to attend C-SC after graduation.
