QUINCY (WGEM) -

After a very windy raw Friday where we saw wind gusts in excess of 40 miles per hour, we are in for, I guess we would call it improving conditions. The low pressure center that impacted us Thursday and Friday does slide to the north and to the east. We will be out of its grips of cold wind. While we will see a gradual clearing throughout the day on Saturday it will remain on the chilly side and still a bit chilly. Temperatures will run about 10° below what is normal for this time of year. Saturday night into Sunday a quick moving Alberta clipper will rush through the area bringing with it the potential for a little bit more rain and may be a little bit of snow. Temperatures Monday rebound into the mid 50s which is about normal for this time of year. On Tuesday there will be a gusty wind out of the south southwest it will usher in warmer than normal temperatures. Forecast data has been back-and-forth with just how warm is it going to be. However upper 60s to near 70 is not out of the question for a daytime high on Tuesday.
