QUINCY (WGEM) -We had a cold front push through the area early Wednesday morning. It did spark a couple of showers, some light rain and some drizzle. We didn’t have much accumulating rain out of this. I did not see any reports greater than 1/10 of an inch. Most were down around 100ths of an inch range. In the wake of the cold front cooler temperatures slide into the area. We will have a clearing sky Thursday that will lead to a cool but sunny day.
If you’re wanting to view the lunar eclipse Thursday night into Friday morning looks as if we’ll have clear skies. Temperatures do rebound this weekend with some sunshine and temperatures topping out in the mid 50s on Saturday. Sneak peek into Thanksgiving day next Thursday looks like it’ll be a cool day with temperatures topping out only in the low 40s. We don’t see any inkling of a 60 degree temperature in the next 10 to 15 days.
