QUINCY (WGEM) - A local group is asking for the community’s help to keep providing mental health services for individuals and families in the area.

Cornerstone mental health facility in Quincy is kicking off the group’s annual holiday appeal seeking donations toward their mission.

Marketing and Development Director Drew Quintero said the facility provides therapy for people ages 4 to 104. They offer family and marriage counseling, help for families navigating adoption, support for new mothers with abuse and neglect prevention programs and have a nurse who can prescribe medication.

“We’ve set a goal of $20,000 this year,” Quintero said. “We hope to raise that and those will all go back directly into the community, into the services that we offer so that we can continue to provide these services to those who need it.”

Quintero said the campaign runs from Nov. 30, Giving Tuesday, to the end of January.

Donors can make contributions online, mail in a check, or give in-person at 316 N. Ninth St. in Quincy.
