A strong ridge of high pressure over the East and developing low pressure over the Plains is leading to quite the pressure change across the Midwest. This change in pressure is driving some gusty winds, with winds blowing out of the South from 10-20mph through the day. Wind gusts over 30mph will be possible during the late morning and early afternoon hours.

The bright side of the gusty Southerly winds is they are bringing in warmer than average air. Temperatures are set to climb into the low 60′s Wednesday afternoon, which is about 10-15 degrees above average. A cold front will move through overnight Wednesday night, which will bring the chance for some showers and a big temperature change heading right into Thanksgiving.
