Temperatures Tanking for Turkey Day
A cold front moved through overnight, bringing anywhere from 0.1 to 0.3″ of rain across the Tri-States. The air behind this cold front is Wintry in nature, with temperatures falling into the 30′s and wind chills in the 20′s. Cloud cover and persistent Northwesterly winds will mean that Thanksgiving Thursday will be cold and windy, with temps struggling to rise at all through the day and wind chills staying in the 20′s.
Skies will gradually clear through the afternoon and evening hours, leading a cold evening across the area. Temperatures will dip down to near the 20 degree mark, which would make tonight one of the coldest nights so far of the season. The good news is, we begin warming back up into the weekend.
