QUINCY (WGEM) -Well, tomorrow is the day that we’ve been waiting for. We’ve been talking about warm temperatures or near record high temperatures, it looks as if our current forecast has us just missing the record high by 1°. The record is 67° set back in 1982. We are currently forecasting a daytime high for Thursday of 66°.

After our warm Thursday we get into your Friday and the temperatures are still on the warm side around 62 degrees, Then a cold front rides through the area and drops temperatures down to more seasonable numbers with a daytime high topping out Saturday at 48°. There’s a little if any chance of rain through the work week. However, Sunday there is a pretty good shot at rain showers rolling through the area possibly being cold enough to support a little bit of rain snow mix first thing Monday morning.
