WGEM Sports At Six: Tuesday (November 30) QND Raiders Prepare To Tip-Off Against Monroe City On The Prep Hardwood And Hannibal Continues To Focus In On Facing Smithville In Class 4 Championship Game On Friday

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - The (2-0) Raiders of Quincy Notre Dame will face one of their biggest challenges of the new prep basketball season tonight in the “Show Me State.” QND is set to tip-off against Monroe City on the road this evening. The highly anticipated contest will be the first of the season for the Panthers who return 10 seniors to their roster this season. We’ll check in with QND head coach Kevin Meyer for his thoughts on the IHSA-MSHSAA match-up set for Titletown at 7:15 p.m.

The (13-0) Hannibal Pirates are back at work on the practice turf today as the Class 4 State Championship Game countdown rolls on. The “Red and Black” with take on the (12-0) Warriors of Smithville on Friday morning at Faurot Field in Columbia. We’ll have the latest from HHS head coach Jeff Gschwender.
