QUINCY (WGEM) - If you have yet to rake those leaves in your yard, you are running out of time to get them cleaned up and put out for collection in Quincy.

Quincy Central Services Director Kevin McClean said the deadline for yard-waste collection is in two weeks.

That means you will have to get your work done by Dec. 17, or you will have to haul it off yourself.

“They can take it down to the Evans yard-waste site, which is down off of Radio Road,” McClean said. “And they are open Monday through Friday, from 8 to 5, on Saturday, from 8 to noon, and then they’re closed on Sunday.”

McClean said, so far, he does not know when yard waste pickup will return, but he estimates it will be some time within mid-March as that’s been the general trend over the last several years.
