WGEM Sports At Six: Thursday (December 23) Quincy Blue Devil Wrestling Team Prepares For Upcoming Tournament At Granite City

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - The Quincy High Blue Devils Wrestling Team is focused on getting better on the mats this season in a big way. To a man, the majority of wrestlers understand that the best way to improve and develop your skills, is through conditioning, proper nutrition, working on your technique, listening to your coaches, and finally, practice, practice, and more practice. Longtime QHS head coach Phil Neally appreciates the “work ethic” he’s seen displayed in “The Room” this week as the squad prepares to head to Granite City next week to compete in one of the biggest tourney’s on their schedule.
