QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - The 75th Annual Macomb-Western Holiday Tournament returned from a two-year hiatus. Early this morning, the Camp Point Central Panthers basketball team rallied for a 65-52 win over Canton (IL). Nick Moore and Isaac Genenbacher combined for 38 points on the day. Meanwhile, fourth seed Liberty trounced Illini Bluffs 50-19. Clayton Obert led the team with 14 points.

Liberty and Camp Point Central will clash at Western Hall in Macomb on Tuesday at 5pm.

In the Collinsville Prairie Farms Classic, The Blue Devils of Quincy High showcased an impressive second half in a 73-54 victory over Belleville Althoff. Jeremiah Talton’s 12 points (of his 26 total points) in the third quarter led to the win. Bradley Longcor netted 15 points.

Also, in the State Farm Holiday Classic at Normal West High School. The QND Raiders had their best offensive performance in weeks in a 61-28 thumping of Rock Falls. Coming into the tournament, the Raiders were only averaging 45.7 points per game. Jake Wallingford scored a team high 14 points in the game. They play second seed St. Joseph Ogden on Tuesday at 6:30pm at the Shirk Center in Bloomington, Illinois.
