WGEM Sports at Six: January, 5 (Wednesday) Kirksville and Canton Tip off the Opening Round of the Highland Basketball Tournament; QND Lady Raiders Prepare For Second Half of the Season;

QUINCY (WGEM) -The Undefeated Lady Raiders, of Quincy Notre Dame had some extended time off compared to other local teams. The Blue and Gold did not participate in any holiday tournaments, but instead, focused their attention to improving their chemistry on the practice floor. Head Coach, Eric Orne, believes this is something his players needed.

“Well that’s actually what we really needed. Were coming off a great first half, and we had some great practices over the holiday break. I think the girls are excited for their big game tomorrow night against Springfield”
