QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - Monroe City softball standout Mackenzie Moss signed her National Letter Of Intent with Moberly Area Community College. Though she was named the team MVP and was named to the All-State team. When she spoke to the WGEM Sportscam, her humility shined as she was thankful for the Lady Panther program and the town.

As the Culver-Stockton Wildcats prepare for Peru State. Wildcats men’s basketball standout Jalen Blaize was named Heart Player Of The Week. In the win against Graceland. Blaize shot a career high 46 points, tying the single game record that has stood out for 48 years. During the week, he averaged 22 points, hit 47 percent from beyond the arc. He is 10th in scoring within the conference. The Wildcats are 11-5 and will host at Charles Field House on Wednesday evening.
