QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - The (18-1) QND Lady Raiders basketball team is ready to hit the hardwood tonight in Rushville, Illinois. That’s where head coach Eric Orne will lead the “Blue and Gold” up against the Lady Rockets of RIHS in a West Central Conference North Division match-up. The Lady Raiders are currently (5-0) in the conference standings while the (2-18) Lady Rockers are (1-2). The WGEM Sports Cam was on patrol in “The Gem City” earlier today and caught up with longtime Quincy Notre Dame head coach Eric Orne to get a scouting report on this evening’s contest. It was a proud day in Center, Missouri earlier today as two members of the Mark Twain High School Track and Field team were in the local sports spotlight. It was a special afternoon for Tiger seniors Will Owen and Chase Lake who signed National Letters of Intent with Culver Stockton College in Canton, Missouri.
