QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - After a tough loss in overtime during the Quincy Shootout on Friday, the (12-7) Raiders of Quincy Notre Dame are ready to start a new winning streak tonight in Carthage. That’s where the “Blue and Gold” will tip-off against (11-7) Illini West this evening in a highly anticipated conference showdown. QND head coach Kevin Meyer took timeout earlier today at “The Pit” during his squads shoot-around practice session to offer some insight and a scouting report on what he expects to see from the Chargers.

The Quincy Blue Devils, currently riding low of a 5 game losing skid, are set to return to the IHSA girls hardwood tonight against (17-7) Springfield in the Capital City. QHS is currently sporting a (6-8) overall record. We’ll check in with Blue Devils head coach Brad Dance regarding the challenge Quincy High faces this evening on the road!

It will be a special but very emotional time for a few select members of the Quincy High Wrestling Team this evening in The Gem City! It’s “Senior Night” for the Blue Devils and after a disappointing performance in Clinton, Iowa last weekend, the “Blue and White” are hoping for a stellar outing against Galesburg at the QHS Gym. That’s where the two Western Big 6 Conference squads are set to square off on the mats this evening. We’ll check in with a trio of Quincy High Senior wrestlers who are looking forward to their one and only duel at home this season.
