Knox City votes in favor of continuing street tax

KNOX CITY, Mo. (WGEM) - Residents in Knox City voted 85% in favor of continuing the city street tax in Tuesday’s General Municipal Election.

The city the tax rate is $0.50 per $100 valuation, and the tax is intended for street maintenance.

The tax will remain in place for a period of four years.
